Overview
My internship project involved improving the user experience of the Zeta Marketing Platform to help internal stakeholders better onboard and manage their clients. I conducted user interviews and developed user personas to validate feature decisions for ZOE, Zeta's AI ecosystem.
I learned so much from this experience, such as how to navigate a company's existing design system and create my own system, create user surveys and conduct user research, and justify my design choices when presenting deliverables to my team.

Learnings
Understand the product thoroughly.
When I first interned at Zeta, I was new to understanding how the product operated. Since I was creating personas, I had to quickly learn how the product functions since users were showing how they used the product's features. Thankfully, my team supported me as they answered my plethora of questions to better understand Zeta and its product. My understanding allowed me to do my best work when creating my deliverables.
Iterate from constructive feedback.
I worked closely with other interns and managers and received constructive feedback and learned how to improve each step of the way. My openness to feedback and willingness to learn helped me gain insights on how more seasoned designers would approach problems and justify their decisions. This feedback allowed me to improve at design faster than working individually for my personal projects.
